You can use the following repository to get gmp/mpfr and gcc42 for
SUSELinux 10.1 (x86_64 and i586 only):

http://software.opensuse.org/download/devel:/tools:/gcc/SUSE_Linux_10.1/

these are all backports from the currently in development openSUSE 10.3.
