I have been happily ignoring the secnds.f saga because I thought that it 
had nothing to do with me.  Seeing the name of the contributor was a 
shock - I had totally forgotten that I wrote the secnds intrinsic.  
Please accept my apologies for inaction over a rather long period of time.
