Problems compiling

Hi guys,
I will apologize in advance since I have never used one of these boards before. I am running Mac OS X version 10.4.6 on a 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5. And am trying to install gfortran. I have followed the directions on the GFortranBinaries webpage for the download and installation. However, when I attempt to compile a test program with gfortran I get the following error.
>>gfortran test2.f
/usr/bin/ld: can't locate file for: -lSystemStubs
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
I have searched the web for info on this and cannot find anything. Does anyone have any ideas? Let me know if there is a more appropriate forum for me to ask these questions! I don't want to waste your time.
Thanks,
Charles
