I guess I could.  But even just rewriting makedepf90 to use the gfortran
parser would require a bit of work.  Not huge amount of work, bit it's
still not something that happens by itself.  And anything that doesn't
happen by itself, doesn't happen at all at the moment.

(The main reason I didn't do it originally was that gfortran/g95
didn't exist yet).
