Is this a known optimisation bug ? (Which has appeared recently...)

It's a known bug, #30391. See http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/ 
show_bug.cgi?id=30391 for more details, and you can add yourself to  
the CC list of that bug report if you wish to gently suggest to the  
person "owning" this bug that people are actively waiting for this  
one to be fixed! (you won't be alone there, as you can see).

Why on earth do people feel necessary to translate every single  
technical word into a weird french term nobody ever uses? What is the  
preprocessor, then: "un pré-traiteur"?
