dg-error matches a regular expression. Parentheses have a special
meaning in regular expressions. Thus your match should look something
like
{ dg-error "can not be BIND\(C\)" } or
{ dg-error "can not be BIND.C." }
(I'm wondering if you shouldn't use "cannot", but I forgot the precise
rule for distinguishing between the two.)
