Undefined gfortran symbols

The three symbols were part of GCC gfortran 4.2.x and early versions of
4.3.0 (4.3.0 is current developer version which changes daily); the
symbols have been dropped in later versions of gfortran.

Solution: Recompile all files to make sure that none of the object files
contains a reference to the now-deleted library functions.
