You could search the comments for the function name given in the ICE  
message, this usually finds duplicate ICEs.  That said, opening  
duplicate bugs is not a bad thing.  For one, people going through the  
bug database will usually appropriately flag bugs as dupes, and  
secondly, if a bug gets many dupes we will know that it is important.
