When I first started to document the intrinsic procedures,
I included example programs because I was documenting 
one of the more difficult to grasp intrinsics (ISTR it
was ASSOCIATED).  Whether the programs are useful is 
probably a debatable question.  I do however think that
these examples allow us to encourage Good Programming
Practices.
