wrong results for SPACING and RRSPACING at compile time

Dear All,

I was replying to a different message completely and made the entire 
address panel disappear, whilst removing some addressees....
I have spent half an hour in recovering the panel; during which time I 
inadvertently sent a reply to this message.  Please ignore and accept my 
apologies.

PS There was a miniscule tab on the left hand side of the window, which 
made the panel reappear.  I could not see it with the glasses that I was 
wearing earlier....  :-[
