bootstrapping r119280 failed to build libgfortran (x86_64)

I did this morning a build into an empty directory with r119277, updated
it to r119280 and build it without any problems; this is on an Athlon64
with openSUSE 10.2rc2 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu).
And also r119284 compiled.
I didn't test whether building r119280 or r119284 into an empty
directory works, though.
