You can open an "enhancement" PR for it, if you want to.  Anybody
who has the free capacity to work on this and who thinks it is
important can then submit a patch, which will then be reviewed.

As for priorities, well... we have some there's a practical
workaround for parsing gfortran error messages in emacs (which we
can put into the gfortran wiki), and we have plenty of other
bugs, plus a few features that users do request rather regularly.
I won't be surprised if the people who currently contribute to
gfortran won't make this a high priority, but we can always use
more volunteers *hint, hint* :-)
