Hi,
I am porting some fortran code from a DEC Alpha workstation (Digital
Fortran) where I use to use the signal function to handle FPE, to a
linux running machine with g77.
In this last machine I am trying to use the signal function to handle
floating exceptions with a subroutine, but what happens is that the
program is able to detect the exception, but then it keeps in an
infinite loop on that subroutine.
So, what am I doing wrong? My hint is that I am not reseting the FPU
state, and because of the FPE the routine is being continued called.
Can you help me about this?
How do you handle FPE?
Thanks in advance
