Non-functional compiler under SGI Irix

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Talk about missing the obvious: well, my LD_LIBRARY_PATH would be OK,
just that I have no 'libgfortran.*': my build when wrong somewhere, I
need to wait until it is rebuilt to look into it.

Unfortunately, I'll come back later with more about the same problem...
