new gfortran 4.1 branch failures

Steve,
   Well I grep'd the build directory and found that...

gcc4-4.1.0-20060418/darwin_objdir/powerpc-apple-darwin8/ppc64/libgfortran/kinds.h

...has...

#define HAVE_GFC_REAL_16

I also see that defined in darwin_objdir/powerpc-apple-darwin8/libgfortran/kinds.h.
