[gfortran] (last?) patch for internationalisation

Attached patch removes the last (as far as I found) occurence of error
messages built up from pieces. Regtesting under progress, I will commit
in 12 hours (before the SVN transition) unless someone has concerns.
And a (not so) related question: I plan to contribute (when I have some
time) a french translation of the fortran front-end messages to the
translation team (already discussed with them), but they weren't able to
tell me if I needed a specific copyright assignment (as they usually do
for translaters) or if my current assignment is enough. Does someone know?
