I hope that you do not mean by my wording - I was trying to draw 
attention to the seriousness of the regression; no slur was intended 
upon Janne.  Indeed, I think that we have all been so hit to some degree 
or another! The more ambitous is the project, the more severe the likely 
regressions, I suspect.

I will start committing tomorrow, using libgfortran of 2005/10/06.
