Badly, I'm afraid.  The problem occurs when we try to calculate
the size of one element in the array to be allocated.  I spend a
lot of time trying to find out why, but got lost somewhere among
the tree:s.  I'm not very familiar with that tree stuff yet,
which makes debugging in that area of the code harder for me.  I
do intend to make another try soon, but if someone else is eager
to do something about it, feel free to do so.
