I do not know if you are aware of it or not but this patch fixes PR22048 
as well.  I had started working on it when your patch was posted. As a 
result, I saw right away that they were one and the same.

Great stuff!  With the two tentative patches that I posted on Bugzilla 
this afternoon for PR24223 and  PR24705, that just leaves  PR15809 of 
the character meta-bug, PR19276.

How is PR15809 coming along, Erik?
