I don't subscribe to gcc@, but do read through the archive.  In

http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc/2005-11/msg00018.html

you state: "All the other problems are with non-standard code
            (like flush, getarg, et al.), where I have to find
             standard-conforming solutions."

What problems are you having with FLUSH and GETARG.  Both 
are present in libgfortran.
