I'll look this over tomorrow and commit (some version of) it.
Jerry, do you have write after approval access to the cvs
repository.  You've provide numerous patches that suggest
that you should have such access.

BTW, you don't need to include the ChangeLog entry in diff.
You should include it in the body of the email to the list.
