collect-ld not found??

Has anybody else seen this failure on building from today's cvs?  Better 
still, does anybody know how to fix it?  I cannot make head nor tail of 
the problem.

Red Hat 9 /Athlon1700....

However, collect-ld is there

[root@localhost build]# ls -lsh gcc/collect-ld
4.0K -rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root           31 Jun 20 12:47 gcc/collect-ld
