MacOS X binaries

Hi FX,

I'd be willing to test your scripts on my wife's new iMac (it's kinda 
bored ....) to produce automated binaries.  Once I get gcc to compile, 
that is. For me, there seems to be a problem with Makefile syntax on 
Darwin-8.1 (not further investigated, yet).
