Hi
Sometime back I reported PR21480
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21480
which is marked as duplicate of PR 21127 by Francois-Xavier Coudert
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21127
However on May 18th, a patch was committed which fixed PR21127. So I
thought this fixed 21480. But today I tried to compile the sample code
in PR21480 using
$gfortran-4.0 -v
Using built-in specs.
Target: i486-linux
Configured with: ../src/configure -v
--enable-languages=c,c++,java,f95,objc,ada,treelang --prefix=/usr
--enable-shared --with-system-zlib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --enable-nls
--without-included-gettext --enable-threads=posix
--program-suffix=-4.0 --enable-__cxa_atexit
--enable-libstdcxx-allocator=mt --enable-clocale=gnu
--enable-libstdcxx-debug --enable-java-gc=boehm --enable-java-awt=gtk
--enable-mpfr --disable-werror --enable-checking=release i486-linux
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.0.1 20050522 (prerelease) (Debian 4.0.0-9)
on Debian sid.
$gfortran-4.0 reshape_bug.f90
rajulocal@kusumanchi:~/work/fortran/gfortran_bugs 144 644 12:14 AM
$./a.out
before
( 0.000000 , 0.000000 ) ( 0.000000 , 0.000000 )
after
( 0.000000 , 0.000000 ) ( 2.022255 , 0.000000 )
So the patch introduced on May 18th fixed PR21127 but not PR21480.
So my questions are
1) Should PR21480 be reopened?
2) Has PR21480 been solved but the patch didnot make it to Debian?
3) any other ideas?
thanks
raju
