[PATCH] Cray Pointers

Asher,
    Have you fixed any bugs in the latest patch that could cause stack/heap
corruption? So far we are seeing a segfault in some sections of the
xplor-nih's testsuite...

that might be from the cray pointer patch. The xplor-nih author
has checked his code with GuardMalloc on MacOS X and has just
given me a patch that fixed the few warnings that GuardMalloc was
issuing. This hasn't eliminated the crashes we are seeing and 
pretty much rules out a memory leak in his code.
