g95 for Macintosh

Dear Sirs:
	this is an official rant. I would love to use g95 fortran on 
my G4 MAC, but I cannot find a version that will run. I am good with 
computers; I know unix; the command line terminal is not a problem; 
they just don't run. My latest attempt says:

IIS-BigByte:~/programs jimj$ g04 test.f
/usr/bin/ld: can't locate file for: -lcrt1.o
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status


  I need help.
