Intel (via hjl) is chomping at the bit to get this in.  The biggest
problem is they want glibc changes to match, which Drepper is adamant
about not letting in.

Whether or not the quad support could stand on its own so as to be
usable from Fortran, but not from C, is a question that might be asked.
