Thanks to the recent 'char commonblock' updates I was able to go a bit further with gfortran. My next issue is command line argument processing support. Is there a plan to add iargc()/getarg() or ipxfargc()/pxfgetarg() support into gfortran? I didn't see this listed in the 'todo' list. Thanks, Satish
