Here is a comment !!
Regular updates to the web pages are vital. IMHO, gfortran needs a
little more participation; users, developers, testers, documentators.
The way to get participation is with communication !
The first place potential users go is the web page, and they say
"hmm..this web page hasn't changed in months.." and they move along.
What we want is for them to say: "look ! things are changing ! this is
a dynamic, energetic project. It is worth my time to download the code
and feed that dusty deck through it ( or maybe dust off that f90 book
and try that new-fangled language out )"
