Hmm I see it being installed by make install:

  rm -f /home/jemarch/root-algol68/share/man/man1/ga68.1
  /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 doc/ga68.1
/home/jemarch/root-algol68/share/man/man1/ga68.1
  chmod a-x /home/jemarch/root-algol68/share/man/man1/ga68.1
