No, you would need (at least) newer glibc and libstdc++ DSOs on the
RHEL6 system.

Yes, you can use the Developer Toolset:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-developer-toolset/
Or just build your own GCC on RHEL6.
