I previously requested the TP to add a libstdc++ domain <http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2003-08/msg00321.html>. There was an objection that libstdc++ might not be ready <http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2003-08/msg00415.html>. If libstdc++ developers now think it is ready, perhaps they could send the request to the TP again, and make the necessary changes to translation.html (documenting regenerating libstdc++.pot, submitting it to the TP, and collecting the .po files), branching.html (to mention libstdc++.pot as well as gcc.pot) and releasing.html (likewise). Looking at the libstdc++ translation machinery, could the configuration of ALL_LINGUAS be changed to just take the list of all translations present in the source tree, as is used for the gcc translations, so acinclude.m4 doesn't need changing when a new translation is added, and could po/POTFILES.in be got rid of (also got rid of for the gcc translations long ago)? -- Joseph S.
