I'm not aware of a line numbering bug.  There was a systemheadness
bug, which is what the above URL seems to refer to.  That has been
fixed for a while.

If you have a testcase lying around, could you see if the line number
is right in the preprocessed source?  Just to confirm it's not the
line number magic that the C++ front end does.
