V3 under 2.95.2 isn't really supported; too many things have been fixed in
the compiler itself since then for many people to care heavily about 2.95.x.
Earlier library snpashots aren't heavily supported either because, well,
they're just snapshots.  :-)

This patch is good, thanks; I'll apply it shortly!
