I would say that if in the situations where you have found
the old dumper useful you find the new dumper equally (or
perhaps more) useful then, and only then, should we get rid
of the old dumper. So it depends on the "some situations"
you refer to and how the new pretty-printer fares under
those.

FWIW, I personally use only the new dumper.
