You made me lookup "highfalutin"!
Wasn't there a rule against nitpicking poor Europeans that don't have
English as their native language? I thought it was nice to use "idem"
since it is short, it is a normal Dutch word and my dictionary said it
is also a normal English word. But I will use "likewise" or "ditto" in
the future. Sure don't want to be seen as someone who is "la-di-da".
Note to non-native speakers, that last thing is really a word in English!
Look it up and learn something :)
