In general we welcome contributions like this.  The biggest problem in
the past has always been continued maintainership: some front- ends
have been abandoned because of a lack of TLC.  As the current GDC
maintainer, I'm sure you know that keeping up with gcc development
requires constant attention.  Do you have anyone who could be a
co-maintainer?
