   In my fink packaging for gcc42, gcc43 and gcc44, I have always used
-with-gmp=%p where %p is the fink installation directory. You definitely
should try that. I do have a problem at the moment with gcc trunk no longer
building because of a problem finding libintl.h...

This problem didn't exist on 20081016.
