It was brought to my attention that the CVS log for fortran/ChangeLog contains the following:

For the 60th anniversary of Chinese people??s Anti-Japan war victory.

associated with your recent check-in.

The GNU Project, in general, and GCC, in particular, transcend national boundaries. National politics have no place here; in the context of GCC, at least, we are all united in the common goal of building a great compiler.

Please do not check in any similar comments in the future.
