I checked, and fixproto can safely be disabled on all -hpux11*
targets (in addition to the ones listed above, you missed
ia64*-*-hpux*).
I do not have access to HPUX 10 or prior. My suspicion is that
hppa*-*-hpux10* is fine, but m68k-*-hpux* do need fixproto (those
targets need to die, anyway).

I only have access to a solaris 2.8 box; it does not need fixproto,
but older versions of solaris might. However, I am pretty sure that
2.5.1 didn't need fixproto, and no one uses anything older anymore.
(One hopes. 2.5.1 was the first version that didn't crash all the
time. 2.4 was bearable, 2.3 and prior were unusable.)
