Successful build of gcc-3.2.1 on alpha-dec-osf4.0f

Greetings, and Merry Christmas to everybody ...

Successful bootstrap build. Some tweaks were necessary.

Output from running config.guess:

Output from running gcc -v:

I did a bootstrap build initially using gcc-2.95.3 and alpha make.
Stages 1 to 3 worked successfully.

This line from log file probably shows the first problem I had:
cat: cannot open
Action taken:
cp libiberty/config.h alpha-dec-osf4.0f/libiberty

Second problem occured during built of libstdc++-v3. The loader gripes
about a missing library.
Possible reason (maybe poor guess): no 'native' C++ compiler on board.
Actions taken:
alpha-dec-osf4.0f/libstdc++-v3/libsupc++/ remove -lstdc++
from dependency_libs
alpha-dec-osf4.0f/libstdc++-v3/libsupc++/ remove
-lstdc++ from dependency_libs
alpha-dec-osf4.0f/libstdc++-v3/libtool: remove -lstdc++ from postdeps

Third problem while building java runtime libs: make argument length
Action taken: using gnu make instead of alpha make.
