If there is a qualified volunteer who is willing to maintain the GCC
port, who will fix it and keep it fixed, the GCC team would be happy
to un-obsolete it. It was obsoleted because it had no maintainer and
we weren't aware of users. Evidently you are users, but we also need
a maintainer.
