I'm tracking closely the work you (and other guys) are doing to
speed things up.
Assuming this applies, mutatis-mutandi, to a gcc from the 3.1
branch, I'm going to give you some hard numbers as soon as I can...
A lot of the patches are going to be hard (but not impossible) to
apply to the 3.1 branch sources. Especially my gen_sequence killer,
I had to remake the patch on almost a daily basis due to conflicting
changes occurring at the same time.
