Hello people.
I have just compiled and installed gcc 3.1.
However, I had to put the --host argument, because configure detected an
older version of ld(?)
The info:
Debian Unstable (Sid) 3.0
config.guess
i686-pc-linux-gnuoldld (maybe incorrect?)
gcc-3.1 -v
Reading specs from /opt/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.1/specs
Configured with: ./configure --prefix=/opt --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu
--program-suffix=-3.1 --enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-nls
Thread model: single
