GCC 3.1 release of unknown quality?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I see the GCC-3.1 releaes announcements and I see the criteria page,
but I see no notice anywhere that any of the criteria were actually
met.

With out this information it's not clear if I should bother to put
gcc-3.1 on my systems and start testing and/or using it. You need to
generate something telling us how close to the criteria the release
is, and for all of our sakes it would be best if it were a make
target.

So in the current situation I will wait (some months?) until I hear
from others how well gcc-3.1 has worked for them. Thanks for all your
work on GCC!
