The CVS mirror subversions.gnu.org uses 1.11.1.p1 too and it seems to work 
fine for gcc. I just noticed that this version has the additional benefit 
of printing the complete path on 'cvs diff', making the pipe thru 
contrib/index-prop superflous, so I want that cvs version on gcc.gnu.org 
too :-).
