Reporting a successful build of 2.95.3 on clipper-intergraph-clix using the
host's native C compiler. Some hacking (not all of it pretty) was done. I'll
be working on 3.0.2 now, and hopefully posting required patches.
For those interested, the host/target is an Intergraph "InterPro", a circa
1993 proprietry UNIX system. The CPU is an Intergraph CLIPPER RISC
processor, originally developed by Fairchild Semiconductor's Advanced
Processor Division. The OS is CLIX, a port of SVR3.2 or so.
A question - I'd like to change the system descriptor to something like
c400-ingr-clix so that the name fits into the host's 14 character file
system limitation, but this will clash with the generic name "CLIPPER" for
the CPU. The other factor is that the actual "system" type is an InterPro
2830. I'm really unsure what the correct designator should be here - any
tips?
