Hello -
I have succesfully installed gcc 3.0.1 on i686-pc-linux-gnu and
sparc-sun-solaris2.6 machines; now I am dealing with 7 computers running
alphaev56-dec-osf4.0d .
'make bootstrap' succesfully builds, in three stages, the compiler; but
while creating libstdc++-v3, at the very beginning (running libtool over
locale-inst.cc) barfs with the message "Virtual memory exhausted: Not
enough space".
This happened on two different computers, also after a reboot. Has anyone
seen a message like this? Suggestions?
