Sorry, this did not fix the problems I had (besides, they were already installed)
To be honest, I don't know that you were referencing the same things I was (libstdc++ bad preprocessor defines)
And I don't know about bison, byacc, et. al. being on disc 2, AFAICT they are all in Mandrake80-inst.iso.
