I was much dismayed to review the compiler docs for GCC 3.0 and find no support for SSE1 (Katmai) instructions on the Pentium III. Is this just a case of new development features not hitting the docs in time, or is there no current support in GCC 3? And if so, when will it be introduced into the source, or will it be introduced at all?
